The long-awaited documentary about Formula 1 icon Michael Schumacher is coming to Netflix on September 15th. This may be the first time since his tragic ski accident in 2013 that we have received carefully silenced information about what is happening to Schumacher and what his condition is.
Michael Schumacher has not appeared in public since the ski crash in December 2013, when he suffered severe head injuries. There is also very little information about his health, which the family does not want to share with the public. The now 52-year-old former Formula 1 driver has been married to Corinna since 1995, daughter Gina is 24 years old and son Mick, who is also a Formula 1 driver himself since this year, is 22 years old.
According to the press release, the documentary presents the path of Michael Schumacher "from the gravel pit of Kerpen to the world's superstar". His colleagues and friends, such as former Ferrari Formula 1 team leader Jean Todt, former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, former Schumacher manager Willi Weber and former Ferrari first husband Luca di Montezemolo, also speak.
